Mountain Division Coordinator, Priscilla Fox

Welcome to the Mountain Division of Moms in Prayer International!

We are moms in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming. As the Mountain Division Coordinator, I love seeing how God is moving hearts and changing lives in our states through praying for the children and schools. We span a vast area of land and come from all ages and stages of life. Some of us are new to Moms in Prayer, some have prayed for close to 30 years, and others are everywhere in between.

What we all have in common is a deep desire to see our kids grow to love Jesus and to see every child and school in our states covered in prayer. We know that we serve a God who can accomplish this seemingly impossible goal, one mom and one school at a time.

I would love to hear from you. If you’re not in a Moms in Prayer group yet, you need to get connected! Experience another mom praying for your child and the joy of seeing God at work in your child’s school.

My Moms in Prayer Story

I didn’t start praying in a Moms in Prayer group until three years after I first heard about the ministry. I kept waiting for someone else to start a group! But once I jumped in with both feet, I was hooked and I know I’ll never stop. I have experienced nothing sweeter than uniting in prayer with other moms for our kids and then leaving them at Jesus’ feet, especially when situations are beyond our control.

One of the most powerful answers to prayer that I’ve seen in my Moms in Prayer group was for a teacher in our children’s school who was diagnosed with cancer. We prayed fervently for her through treatments and for healing, but we also prayed for her salvation since we didn’t know if she had accepted Jesus as Savior. When another member and I who attend the same church learned that she was a member of our church, we reached out to our pastor to let him know. He visited and prayed with her throughout her cancer treatments. We saw the Lord answer our prayers through healing her from cancer. Even more importantly, she gave her life to Jesus. Even now, more than 20 years later, she is on fire for the Lord and gives Him all the glory for what He has done in her life. This experience was a powerful lesson to keep praying for teachers, even ones we know nothing about, and trusting God to do what He knows is needed in their lives.

Now, as my four kids have grown, are married and are having children of their own, the prayers continue for them.  Moms in Prayer has deepened my relationship with God and revolutionized how I pray for others. I know it will do the same for you. Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. Psalm 20:7 (NIV)

What’s your Moms in Prayer story? I would love to hear it! If you don’t have one yet, make sure to connect with a Moms in Prayer group now.
