Praying for Your Grandkids
One special way of connecting with your grandchildren is by praying, not only for them, but also for their teachers and the schools where they spend so much time. Gather with other grandmothers who share your same concerns and hopes. You are building a legacy of prayer for your loved ones and even future generations.
If you’re already in a Grandmothers in Prayer group, see invites below that you can share with others.

His Powerful Promises for our Grandkids
Just a short time ago, nearly 1,000 women from more than 40 countries celebrated 35 years of God doing immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine through the Moms in Prayer International ministry. Hearing stories of answered prayers for our children, grandchildren and their schools throughout the world will thoroughly convince you that there are an abundance of answers still to come!
Our Founder, Fern Nichols, shared a Charles Spurgeon quote which reminds us, “A prayer meeting is the appointed place for the reception of power.” The Holy Spirit reconfirmed to me that the most effective place I can be invested is in my Grandmothers in Prayer group. If I truly want to see God’s powerful promises fulfilled in their lives, I am the one who must faithfully be there to bring them before the Lord.
The same God who called me to invest my prayers and watch Him work throughout my children’s lives 18 years ago, is now calling me to do the same for my grandchild. There are many new challenges for this next generation of children and schools.
Psalm 103:17 assures us that “from everlasting to everlasting the Lord’s love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children’s children.” Let us not miss out on what God wants to do through our prayers for our grandchildren and their schools!
I invite you to meet with other grandmothers and pray according to the promises of God’s Word,
