“For our kids, it’s not the physical prize that is important. It is about the eternal prize of salvation, spending eternity with their Heavenly Father. That is the prize of a champion!” North Dakota State Coordinator, Jean Hendrickson, joins us on the podcast today to talk through 1 Corinthians 9. She reminds us of the importance of keeping an eternal perspective. We have an amazing example from Paul to fix our eyes on God and the truth of His Word so that we can reach many lives for His Kingdom. Just like Paul, we don’t want anything to hinder us from sharing the good news!

About our Guest
For Jean Hendrickson, North Dakota State Coordinator, Moms in Prayer has been an important part of her life and her family’s life for 25 years. She first heard about Moms in Prayer from her pastor’s wife when she asked Jean if she would like to pray for her children. Her response was a resounding yes! Jean has been married to her kindergarten crush for 42 years and they have been farming on his and my parents’ family farms for 46 years. Jean and her husband co-led a youth group for 19 years. This helped them understand what challenges youth face and to pray for them.
Jean and her husband have three grown and married children: Blase, Danielle, and Cole. They rejoice that their children and their spouses follow Jesus and that they are blessed with six grandchildren.
