Global Translation Coordinator

Kathryn first heard about the ministry when her youngest was starting kindergarten. “It was the first year in public school and everything was scary,” recalls Kathryn. A dear neighbor invited her to join a Moms in Prayer group and she’s been involved ever since– even now that her kids are in career mode.

Kathryn and Darrell have been married for thirty years with two children, Matthew 25 and Lauren 23. They are nearly empty-nesters.

One of Kathryn’s favorite hobbies is quilting with a friend she met through Moms in Prayer. She also likes to walk and be active, and at other times, sit down with a good book (The Good Book for that matter).

Commenting about some of her favorite Bible verses, Kathryn says, “Philippians 4: 6-7 have been ‘mine’ for years. I know that this is God’s intervention to help me no longer be the anxious person I used to be!”

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7 (NASB)
