As a mom of both college age and young adult kids, and wife of former pro-baseball player, Kim speaks from experience about the desires of every mom to see her children walking with the Lord no matter what age they are. In 1999 Kim was personally involved with MOPS where she made lifelong friendships and held various Steering Team positions. It is a ministry that is near and dear to her heart!
Kim learned the power of praying with other moms after the decision to have her son attend a huge public high school. Jesus says in John 17:15 “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.” This became her heart’s cry for her children. She couldn’t take them out of this crazy world and she knew the temptations would be great. But she could blanket them in prayer with a mighty team of like-minded women by being a part of Moms in Prayer.
Kim knows there is no better legacy she can leave her children and future grandchildren than the legacy of prayer. Her hope is to share this message with moms and grandmothers of all ages both here at home and across the globe.
Kim has been married to Matt for 25 years and they have two young adult children, Caleb and Chloe. She and her family currently live in Temecula after spending 11 years traveling around the country as her husband pursued his professional baseball career. Kim works as a Global Ministry Assistant at Moms in Prayer headquarters where she has many opportunities to share her passion for prayer with women around the world.
