I learned about Moms in Prayer 20 years ago. My husband’s Navy ship relocated from Long Beach to San Diego. Shortly after arriving, we enrolled our oldest son in a Christian school. One of the moms from this school invited me to a group and I have been a praying mom ever since.

Moms in Prayer has often been a lifeline for me, especially when my husband was deployed and I was at home holding down the fort, taking care of the boys, our home, and our finances. The Lord has carried and protected our family over the years and He remains faithful to us each and every day. Moms in Prayer taught me how to pray, draw closer to the Lord, and has shown me, time and time again, how much He loves and provides for His children.

My life verse is Ephesians 3:20-21 (AMP), “Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to the power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever, Amen.”

God’s word is true! His plans and purposes are pure. And He is worthy of all our praise!
