I heard about Moms in Prayer when my kids were toddlers and Sally Burke came to speak at my church. I knew that as soon as my son started kindergarten, I would join or start a Moms in Prayer group. Fifteen years later, I’m still involved, now in a college and career group. When you don’t know what to pray, another mom in the group intercedes on your behalf for your children. It is a wonderful and humbling experience.
I have been married to Eric for 22 years. We have two children, a son who is 20 and in college, and an eighteen year old daughter who is exploring her options of school and/or a job. The Lord has directed my kids’ education from kindergarten to college and career. That was only possible by praying with other moms in my group.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Cal State Fullerton and have 25 years of experience in non-profit accounting. In my free time, I enjoy visiting with good friends, exploring antique stores and making crafts.
Refresh my heart in Christ. Philemon 1:20b (NIV)
