My sister-in-law told me about Moms in Prayer when my oldest child was in second grade. I was drawn to find other moms to start a group because I knew the power of corporate prayer and the encouragement I received when praying with others. A group started and as we prayed together, we saw God move in the lives of our children, their schools and our own lives.
Praying in a Moms in Prayer group has taught me how to pray God’s perfect will by praying His Word. I experience God’s comfort, peace, and strength as I pray with other moms and we wait on Him to fulfill His purposes in our children’s lives. Truly, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4
My husband Gary and I are blessed to have two grown children and a son-in-law: Jacqueline married to Blair and our son Greg.
