Hello and welcome to Michigan Moms in Prayer!

Do you need a lifeline… a place to go to share the burden and fear you may carry for your child? I did! I found this place in a Moms in Prayer group, and you can too!

I’m glad you’re here! Are you hesitant about where to begin or how it works praying with other women? For an hour? I’d love to answer your questions. This I know, that once you take the step of faith to join or begin a group, you will see how incredibly faithful and amazing our God is to hear the prayers of a mom’s heart. The weekly Moms in Prayer time will become one of the best hours of your week and you will build relationships that will bless you beyond measure. There’s much to love about being in a Moms in Prayer group. Join this powerful wave of prayer across Michigan!

My Moms in Prayer Story

God writes our stories in ways we never expect! My story took an unexpected turn when our first born son was diagnosed with Down syndrome and some other complex medical issues. In addition to all of the disability and medical lingo I had to learn, I learned to pray and I began to understand the power of a praying mom!

When my son was five and about to enter the local public school, I heard about Moms in Prayer and knew this was exactly what we both needed. Now, many years later and reflecting back, it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Praying for my children and grandchildren continues to grow my faith, my friendships, and my trust and belief in our faithful God.

My husband Rick and I are now enjoying an empty nest as we have prayerfully launched our children: Zach, Ben & Caroline, and Kassi & Stephen. Nana has become a favorite new “title.” My hubby and I enjoy Lake Michigan beaches, boating, and traveling to visit our kids and grandchildren.
