“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.” Psalms‬ ‭9:1‬ ‭NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Do you believe in divine appointments?

My prayer journey with Moms in Prayer began seventeen years ago when a mom with children at the same school as our son invited me to join her for an hour of prayer. That divine invitation came when I felt very discouraged as a mother and at the point of needing a family counselor. I was amazed by how focused we prayed through the four steps and that moms prayed in one accord throughout the hour. The best part was praying scripture, God’s word and His promises, with our child’s name followed by praying for a specific need. That revolutionized my approach to prayer. It was no longer a frustrated prayer, “Lord, I don’t know what to do, please change my son!” And I was no longer a frustrated mother. God slowly transformed my heart in a positive direction because I trusted in the Lord as my Counselor. I thank God for bringing peace into our home and that my relationship with my son improved greatly. Truly, Lord, you, “Hear my prayers and the prayers of every praying mom and listen to our cries for help” (from Psalm 39:12).

At the 2004 Moms in Prayer 20th Anniversary closing session, Fern Nichols, Founder, made a bold altar call: Who would go out to reach women from the nations and language groups? As I raised my hands to God as an offering to use me, He changed my purpose in the ministry. No longer would I only come to an hour of prayer; now I would share of all the marvelous things God had done with Spanish-speaking moms throughout my state. We started the first Spanish group in my area. In that season I also prayed more passionately as the needs became heavier with a high school-aged son.

In 2010, the Lord expanded my territory to lead the USA Spanish Language Team. He faithfully equipped me to train numerous Spanish-speaking women by phone and face to face. Just like me, they were struggling moms seeking God’s best for the future of their children, for godly teachers and safe schools.

I am currently privileged to serve as the USA Language Groups Liaison with Team Leaders who are devoted and compassionate servant leaders. They represent Chinese, Korean, Russian and Spanish cultures and language groups. I‘m thankful that God is raising up prayer warriors in many language groups who are standing in the gap for their children and schools throughout the USA and the world.

Our sincere invitation goes out to women who speak a language other than English, and who have children of all ages from pre-school to career. We are here to help you join or start a group in your heart language. We believe you will experience peace in God’s presence. You will be blessed and your children or grandchildren will eternally benefit from your gift of prayer.

We are praying that you will take a step of courageous faith to join Moms in Prayer.

My heart’s desire is that, “_________(your name) will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord” (from Psalm 40:3).
