Welcome to Moms in Prayer in the Great Lakes states! Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio include rural communities, suburbs and cities. All moms pray for safety back and forth to school, whether it’s a long bus ride through rolling farmland, chaotic pick-up/drop off lines or a short walk down a dangerous block.
Hurting kids are in every school. Temptation is around every corner—but so is God! A Moms in Prayer hour reminds you of that very fact: While you say goodbye to your kids each morning (or each semester as they leave for college), God walks with them and sees all; and He alone can handle anything. Our prayer hour is based on God’s word! We don’t share advice or pep-talks—we read His plan from His very words!
In Moms in Prayer, you will find a safe place to pour out your heart for your children, create deep friendships as you share the burdens you carry for your children, and discover peace as you see God working through prayer week after week.

My Moms in Prayer Story
I heard about Moms in Prayer on the radio, at MOPS and in two churches, before I was brave enough to try it! The first year I fell in love with God in a whole new way as I learned to praise him for who He says He is. The next few years I gained faith as I watched God answer prayers so specifically that there was no possible explanation outside of almighty intervention. These last few years I have found hope seeing God turn difficulties in my adult children’s lives into His tools.
With three kids grown and flown, it is amazing to look back and see how God guided my prayer time to accomplish His will for my kids. It has helped me love them as they are, with God’s grace, and see how God directs them.
I love Moms in Prayer—it has changed my life!
