Dear North Carolina Women,
I love Moms in Prayer! I want each one of you to experience it!
I was saved at an early age, around 4th grade. God heard all of my prayers, but not until I joined Moms in Prayer as a young mom and learned the Four Steps of Prayer, did I REALLY learn how to pray. It is so amazing that the only thing the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to do was, “Lord, teach us to pray,” from Luke 11:1. Before Moms in Prayer, I did not Praise – oh, how I have learned who my Father is through Praise. I don’t think I was very specific when I Confessed my sins. I Thanked some. But what I did the most was Ask, and that wasn’t with Scripture. And when I said “Amen,” I didn’t walk believing that He was already at work. I’m pretty sure I still fretted. Oh the PEACE when you truly cast your cares onto Him!
My husband Mark is my best friend next to Jesus. We have two adult sons, Luke and Matt, one of whom WAS a prodigal. My Moms in Prayer friends helped me pray when I could not and along with me, witnessed the victory! The enemy wants to deceive our children, but God IS GREATER! Our children and schools need our prayers!
You will find me at my church’s organ on any given Sunday, which is probably why I claim Zephaniah 3:17 as my favorite verse: “The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in His love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” How He loves you – please join this ministry!
