My second grade daughter sat at the dinner table crying. It was only the second week of school, and her already beloved teacher was on leave due to a difficult pregnancy. My daughter had experienced a new substitute each day for a week! Hearing my story, a neighbor shared about Moms in Prayer with me. I attended one meeting and knew I had found ‘my people.’

Pouring out my heart before God during the Moms in Prayer hour over the last 20 years has brought me joy, peace, lifelong friends and a much deeper personal relationship with my Heavenly Father. It is impossible to stand in the gap for anyone before the throne of grace and mercy and be unchanged yourself. Moms in Prayer is a tremendous blessing and I am anxious that you should share this amazing, life changing blessing with me! Come, experience it for yourself. You will see God work in exciting ways, and perhaps you will find ‘your people’ too.

I am married to Joe and we have two adult daughters and two sons-in-love. My husband and I love to read and travel and I enjoy teaching adult Sunday School.

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. Psalm 62:5 (NIV)
