“All we had was a map, but God had the destinations.” Today we complete our Empowered series welcoming Moms in Prayer New York State Coordinator, Jill Falletta, to the podcast. Jill, a gifted story teller, expounds on the final I AM statement of Jesus, I AM the true vine. Listen in as she shares the amazing journey the Lord took her on while praying for His help with the God-sized task she was facing. You will be amazed at the resulting fruit Jill witnessed, from simply abiding and trusting in the Lord with all her heart.
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5
The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day. Proverbs 4:18
Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105

About our Guest:
Jill Falletta and her husband Steve enjoy life together on the east end of Long Island, New York. They have raised three children and are absolutely delighted to be watching the next generation of their family unfold with two grandchildren and another one on the way.
Jill’s love story with Moms in Prayer began in the fall of 1990 when she started leading a prayer group for her eldest son’s elementary school; he was entering first grade at the time. It has been her joy to pray with moms through all the years as they have carried each other’s heavy burdens. Through Moms in Prayer, Jill has grown to know her heavenly Father intimately, experienced the deep assurance of belonging to Jesus, and enjoyed sweet fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Praying weekly with her Moms in Prayer group has been a lifeline for Jill.
Thank you Jill! I was both encouraged and enlightened from this message. “Whenever we find ourselves striving, its a red flag that our connection with Him is not lined up and therefore we are out of His perfect will for us.” I loved the hose and spigot analogy!
Wonderful words of truth shared by Jill. Great job my friend! I know God will use it to encourage many moms hearts to move into the joy of remaining in the vine Jesus. God bless.
Jill What I remember and enjoyed mostly was the JOY in which you all went on your trusting in the Lord tour. It sounded like kids going on a journey and knowing that they will find the hidden treasures as they go. It was the FUN and the EXPECTATION that you all had that made it so appealing. That was quite a sacrifice to fast 21 days and to God be all the Glory. What an inspirational testimony.
Thank you, Rosie, you are always such a wonderful encourager! Yes, with the JOY of the Lord we can do all things! Our hope is in Him as we joyfully anticipate all He will do when we place our trust fully in Him. Hope never disappoints! All glory to Him!
I was encouraged listening to this podcast, remaining connected to our Father. I liked what Jill said about the light on our path, a light that guides us step by step. We are blessed to be able to come to God in prayer. Thanks Jill
You’re welcome, Janie! I am so thankful that you were blessed by the podcast and gained some fresh insight about the steps we take on the path as the Lord opens it up to us. Praise the Lord!
