Heartland Division Coordinator, Deborah Bryant
Welcome to the Heartland Division of Moms in Prayer!
We’re so glad you’re here—your interest is an exciting answer to prayer!
Our division includes the beautiful states of Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Moms in Prayer is a Christ-centered movement that helps women set aside intentional time to gather to pray God’s Word for their children and their schools. There’s nothing quite like hearing another mom lift up your child’s name before the Lord. Our prayer times build trust in God and form lifelong friendships.
We would love to help you connect with other praying moms near you. Moms across the Heartland are ready to welcome you into this amazing, life-giving community. Together, we can impact children and schools in the Heartland—for Christ—through the power of prayer.

My Moms in Prayer Story
When our daughter turned five, I found myself anxious about her starting kindergarten. Around that time, I read a book about Moms in Prayer International, and it deeply resonated with me. Just days later, I saw a friend while shopping and to my surprise, she had read the same book! Right then and there we decided to start a Moms in Prayer group together.
Through Moms in Prayer, I began—and continue—to learn how to surrender my fears and worries, letting God replace them with His peace and comfort. Now years later, meeting weekly with my Moms in Prayer group remains one of the most meaningful and powerful things I do as a mom.
My husband and I live in Des Moines, Iowa. We’re blessed with a daughter, and a son and daughter-in-law, who also live nearby.
