I joined the first Moms in Prayer group in my town in 1998 and I’ve rarely missed a meeting since. I am amazed at how regularly being in one accord prayer with other women has grown my love and appreciation for my Lord.

My favorite Scripture is Philippians 3:7-11 (NIV), “But whatever were gains to me I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. I want to know Christ—yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.”

I have been married to Dave since 1981. We have three wonderful grown children. Nicole, married to Chris, are the parents of 4 adorable girls. Our son Ryan is a lawyer living in New York City and our youngest daughter Amy, married to John, welcomed our first grandson into the family in 2018. Dave and I relish spending time with family and being grandparents. We also enjoy traveling, playing tennis and sailing in Rhode Island.
