West Virginia
Susan Boland,
State Coordinator

I first heard about Moms in Prayer when Fern was interviewed on Focus on the Family. I was still involved in MOPS at that time, so I tucked it away until my youngest started school. My first group began in 2005 and I have been incredibly blessed to watch the Lord work in the lives of our children and schools through the years. After a time of prayer and seeking God’s will, I became West Virginia State Coordinator for Moms in Prayer in February of 2014.

What began as a desire to benefit my children and schools by lifting them up in prayer, grew into blessings far beyond anything I ever imagined. It has been a time of spiritual growth, learning to love and appreciate God’s character as we praise Him each week. Praying the Four Steps of Prayer with my group and in my own quiet time has deepened my relationship with the Lord in such sweet ways. As we carry our children to the Lord, the comfort and encouragement we receive from each other is invaluable. Being a part of Moms in Prayer is truly a blessing. What a joy to partner with the Lord as He honors our humble prayers and impacts this generation for His glory!

I have been married to Mitch since 1983. We have a son Casey (24) and daughter-in-law Shanda (21), and daughters Elyse (20) and Allyson (17). I enjoy reading and spending time with family and friends.

“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen! (Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV)
