Christian Missionaries with a heart for orphans

Travel the World Through Prayer Russia & Albania

“Whatever story God is writing in your life, be available and be ready to say yes.” Stacy continues her conversation with mom of four, grandma to fourteen, and founder of an international sewing ministry, Kathie Arnold. Listen to Kathie share her amazing adventures with the Lord when taking His hand and stepping out of her comfort zone. God's calling for my lifeScriptures (NLT):

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. 1 Corinthians 3:6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27

Moms in Prayer:
About our Guest:

Steve & Kathie Arnold, Come and Sew Ministries InternationalKathie Arnold always had a passion for missions, yet she never imagined or planned anything like CASMI. Kathie and her husband Steve were married in 1972, supported missions, raised 4 children, and now have 14 grandchildren. Kathie and their oldest daughter went on their first mission trip to the former Soviet Union in 1991. Upon returning, Kathie began a sewing school from their home. Ten years later, Steve and Kathie were asked to return to Russia, to investigate how to bring the gospel to orphans through sewing classes in state-run orphanages. They saw a need, were encouraged to go forward, and in 2003 CASMI became an official non-profit. Steve and Kathie make their home in Texas and continue to share the love of Jesus through CASMI.
