Colorado State Coordinator, Lisa Freyschlag
We are reminded in Isaiah 55:11 that God’s plans prevail and that His Word always accomplishes His purposes! “… so is My word that goes out from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” This promise emboldens us to pray His Word over our children and schools knowing that our prayers will never return to Him empty.
My vision and hope for Moms in Prayer in Colorado is that our land would bud and flourish with new groups in every corner of the state and that seeds of HOPE would be planted in each mom’s heart. And let’s share Moms in Prayer with our friends, churches and communities.

My Moms in Prayer Story
I was first invited to a Moms in Prayer group in the 1990s and grew in my prayer life as we faithfully followed the Four Steps of Prayer. The group became my favorite hour every week as I sometimes arrived in a panic, yet always left in peace. God’s promises are true and when we bathe our children in His Word, our hearts are refocused on the God who is bigger than our problems!
The Lord answered prayers for our children in such unique and reassuring ways. When my children became adults, I looked back at my prayer sheets and realized that He worked many of the specific attributes I prayed for each child into the fabric of their individual characters and personalities. I remain awestruck and humbled by the power and privilege of praying God’s word into their lives.
Now it’s my privilege and honor to pray for my new little loves- my grandchildren!
