Connecticut State Coordinator, Tess Grous

We are reminded in Exodus that God sees. He hears. And He knows all that concerns us. The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people …. I have heard them crying out …, and I am concerned about their suffering.” (From Exodus 3:7). How comforting to know that the same God who spoke to Moses yesterday speaks to us today. The Lord sees us, He hears us, and He knows all our concerns. And, He answers us when we pray. What kind of seemingly impossible task do you face today that He can’t take care of?

God is at work all around us in Connecticut. He’s inviting us moms to join Him. My vision is to see all moms across this state grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord, Jesus Christ, to experience the sweet connection with other moms in prayer, and for Holy Spirit led revival to spread across all campuses; homeschool, private, and public. Oh Lord, may we have ears to hear You, eyes to see You, and a willing and obedient heart to follow You.

Experience another mom praying for your child and the joy of seeing God at work in your child’s school.

My Moms in Prayer Story

I became a part of Moms in Prayer over 20 years ago. This is where I gained confidence in prayer, peace which passes all understanding, and lasting friendships. The freedom to be able to trust other women to share my burdens in a safe, judgment-free place has been life changing. I’ve had the pleasure of leading a Moms in Prayer group with homeschool, private school, and public school moms. Today, my three children are grown; two sons (30, 21) and a daughter (22). I now have the privilege to pray for my daughter-in-love and new granddaughter. I’m GiGi Tess! I continue to ask the Lord that all my children would reach their fullest potential in Christ and walk in victory all their days.

Be encouraged! He sees. He is listening. He knows all that concerns you and your child. He’s a God who answers. Keep praying! You are not alone.
