Trusting God in the middle of motherhood

Faith Over a Full Schedule

“God provides everything we need. He has given us the victory through Jesus.” God is not surprised by our needs, shortcomings, fears or failures. He calls us to rest in Him and find our hope and confidence in the fact that He is victorious! Listen in to today’s episode as our Great Lakes Division Coordinator, Lynette Taylor, walks us through 1 Corinthians 16, finishing out our Victorious in Motherhood series.

About our Guest

In 1994, Lynette was a young mother of three boys and pregnant with her fourth, when her mom bought her the Moms in Prayer Booklet. She was in a stage of life where she would’ve protected her children from everything if she could, but quickly discovered that was impossible. As Lynette started praying in a Moms in Prayer group, her relationship with the Lord began to take shape. She went from knowing about Him, to really trusting Him, His name, and His character. Praying together with other moms not only taught her how to pray, but how to let go of all she wanted to control and to trust God—His word, His work, His provision, and His plans.

Lynette and her husband, Tom, have been married for 41 years and they live in Deshler, Ohio. They have been blessed with four sons, two beautiful daughter-in-loves and five adorable grandchildren. Lynette has been a part of Moms in Prayer for over 30 years. She served as the State Coordinator for Ohio from 2015-2022. She currently serves as the Great Lakes Division Coordinator, which includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
